Welcome to VOM Edible Cloud. We are proud to offer international shipping, bringing our culinary innovations to professional kitchens, bars, and gastronomy enthusiasts worldwide.

1. ORDER PROCESSING TIMES

  • Standard Processing Window: All orders are carefully prepared, packed, and handed over to our carrier partners within 3 to 4 business days after your payment is successfully authorized.

  • Schedules and Holidays: Orders placed on weekends or official public holidays (based on our operating calendar in Spain) will begin processing on the following available business day.

  • Shipment Confirmation: As soon as your package leaves our facilities, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to monitor your delivery in real time.

2. SHIPPING ZONES & ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIMES

We partner with premier international express couriers to guarantee the safe transport of our equipment and blends. Estimated transit times from the date of shipment are:

  • Spain (Peninsula & Balearic Islands): 2 to 3 business days.

  • Europe (EU & EEA Member States): 4 to 5 business days.

  • International (Rest of the World): 5 to 7 business days.

Legal Delivery Guarantee (EU & Spanish Consumer Protection): Pursuant to the Spanish General Consumer Protection Law (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios - TRLGDCU), we guarantee that all retail orders will be delivered to the customer within a maximum absolute period of 30 calendar days from the date of the order confirmation. If, due to extraordinary logistical disruption, your order does not arrive within this 30-day window, you hold the legal right to terminate the contract and receive a full refund of all amounts paid without any undue delay.

3. TAXATION, CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES

Our operations are based in Spain. Taxation, customs documentation, and financial obligations depend strictly on the final delivery address:

A. Shipments Within Spain (Peninsula & Balearic Islands)

All displayed prices are final and include applicable Spanish Value Added Tax (VAT). No extra delivery fees, tariffs, or clearance charges will be requested at any stage.

B. Shipments to the European Union (EU)

In compliance with the EU One Stop Shop (OSS) frameworks, retail orders destined for EU member states are subject to the local VAT rate of the destination country, which is calculated and displayed transparently at checkout. Because of the free movement of goods within the EU single market, your order will not face customs inspections, import duties, or hidden courier processing fees upon arrival.

  • B2B Cross-Border Sales (Reverse Charge VAT): For business-to-business (B2B) transactions between Spanish and other EU entities, the intra-Community reverse charge mechanism can be applied. European business clients with a valid, VIES-registered VAT number will qualify for an exemption, and VAT will be deducted or set to 0% at checkout once a valid VAT ID is provided and verified.

C. International Shipments Outside the EU & Spanish Special Tax Territories

Orders shipped to destinations outside the European Union—as well as to the Spanish territories of the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla—are legally classified as exports.

  • VAT Treatment: European Union VAT is not applicable and will automatically be deducted or set to 0% at your checkout.
  • DAP Incoterm Conditions: All such orders are dispatched under the Delivered At Place (DAP) Incoterm standard. This signifies that the payment made at checkout covers the cost of the products and the international transport only.
  • Recipient Responsibility: Any local import taxes (e.g., US Sales Tax, UK VAT, or Canary Island IGIC), customs clearance duties, handling fees, or administrative tariffs levied by the destination country are independent of our brand. These localized expenses are the sole responsibility of the recipient and must be settled directly with the local customs authority or the courier agency before the package can be legally released and delivered.

4. LEGAL TRANSFER OF RISK & DELIVERY ISSUES (TRANSIT CLAIMS & WARRANTY)

In strict compliance with EU digital commerce and consumer safety laws, Plat Institute retains full legal liability for the safety of your goods during transport.

The risk of loss, theft, or physical damage to the products transfers to you only at the moment when you, or an explicitly designated third party acting on your behalf (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the package.

  • Reporting Visible Damage: Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your package arrives with apparent transit damage, looks compromised, or contains incorrect items, please contact us immediately at product@vom-edible-cloud.com.

  • The 7-Day Window: To help us formally file claims and hold our courier partners accountable, we highly appreciate it if you can report any visible delivery damage or mistakes within 7 days of receipt, along with photos of the damaged packaging and the shipping label.

  • Your Legal Protection: Rest assured, this request is purely administrative to aid our logistics claims; in accordance with Section 5 of our Refund Policy, your statutory legal warranty rights against hidden defects or lack of conformity remain fully protected regardless of this timeframe.

  • Tracking Discrepancies: If your tracking status stops updating or shows anomalies, please notify us so we can formally open an investigation with the carrier and secure a replacement or refund for you.

5. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS & SPECIAL DESTINATIONS

Certain international jurisdictions maintain strict import protocols regarding specialty culinary devices or components. If your country is blocked or not explicitly available as a selectable destination during our checkout sequence, please write to us at product@vom-edible-cloud.com. Our logistics division will review compliance pathways to see if a tailored freight solution can be arranged for your location.
